Work-at-home assembly jobs are all scams. It goes like this: you buy the materials from your "employer" at some ridiculous markup, assemble the product you've been assigned and ship it back to them at your expense. You are then told that the product doesn't meet their exacting standards, and are instructed to buy more raw materials and start over.

Never, ever, will they pay you for the product you make. It's just a distraction from the fact that you're buying something like a small sheet of felt for $10 or more.

Envelope stuffing is also a scam. You send some money away to learn about the opportunity, and maybe, if you're lucky, get a letter back explaining how to post the same ad and swindle other people out of their money.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It's just not worth your time, effort, or money to chase these offers.
